The Beach of the Drowned
One morning, the body of a sailor is found lying on the beach, washed in by the tide.. With no witnesses or any sign of the dead man’s boat, Inspector Leo Caldas begins immersing himself in the town’s seafaring atmosphere as he endeavours to shed light on the crime. He finds himself among men and women who prefer not to reveal their suspicions to him. But a sudden discovery sets him off in an unexpected direction.
Under Therapy
Three married couples undergoing therapy are summoned by their female psychologist to a meeting. The psychologist won’t be attending the reunion herself, but she will give to them instructions about what they must do. Thus, to the sound of a horn (literally), the six protagonists will gradually air their dirty laundry concerning their relationships and bring up issues like taking care of the kids, the different home tasks, money, jealousy and sex, until it all leads to a most unexpected and equally shocking end.
Operation: Raqqa
An enigmatic international spy in the service of Russia and a Spanish agent of Moroccan origin working for Europol coincide in the Syrian city of Raqqa, an enclave of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS). Both, despite being on opposite sides, have a common goal, to locate the whereabouts of one of the main leaders of the Jihad, known as The Jordan, to facilitate his elimination and precipitate the fall of the organization. In an atmosphere of mutual distrust, both will have to evade dangers, from summary executions to women sold into slavery.
